PRODUCTS
We carry a full product line of potting soil, organic soil amendments, fertilizers, and garden gifts. Our four growing greenhouses enable us to grow most of the plants we sell. We are known for the variety of plants we offer. Perennials, annuals, vegetable starts, herbs, hanging baskets, houseplants, and vines. We are known for our expert local advice on landscapes and growing in the Palouse region!
The Farm
We started growing for the Moscow Farmer's Market in 1992. Our first crop was a colorful selection of pansies and violas.
In 1997, we built a small greenhouse next to our house and expanded to growing geraniums and vegetable plants.
In 1998, we got an SBA loan, changed the zoning on the property to commercial, and built the store on the hillside south of our house. We built from scratch using concrete test cores for retaining walls, recycled greenhouses, and repurposing anything we could get our hands on!
The result of our efforts is a unique, sweet little nursery that is fun to visit- with treasures in lots of little nooks and crannies.
